Introduction: The next year of my life.

So here's the deal, with Slim4Life you go in get weighed, tell them what your goal weight is and size and they calculate how long with their plan, it will take for you to reach that goal. They put you on yes, a "restricted" diet, supplements, and offer you some of their extra goodies like protein bars, energy drinks, etc. After I went in and saw a few of the customers results, talked to the supervisor who started working there after she lost 80 lbs and has kept it off for 10 years, and got completely informed on all the information and program, I was sold.

I am at a starting weight of 192.4, 5 foot 7 inches tall and am hoping to reach of weight of 165 in 10 weeks, which will be July 5 and my birthday is July 6th, so I planning to be about 30 pounds lighter by my 22nd birthday!

After talking with the supervisor this is the plan we have set for me for the next year:

Starting today 4/22/10-4/24/10 I will be doing the "Prep" Phase this consists of consuming, everyday:

Unlimited proteins (meat, poultry, fish and shellfish)
Unlimited green RAW veggies, no peas
(2) Eggs
1/2 Orange in the A.M.
1/2 Orange in the P.M.
(10) Eight oz. of water
1/4 to 1/2 TSP of Morton Lite Salt

You are not allowed fruit juices, cooked veggies, break, milk, cheese, deli meats, peas, pasta, pork, or condiments like mayo, ketchup, and mustard.

You are permitted (2) cups of coffee, or tea per day in addition to the water. And are allowed to add any seasonings, as long as they do not contain salt or sugar, for more flavor.
You may also use Kraft Non-Fat dressings or oil and vinegar (no white vinegar).

This is a 3 day phase.

Next,

Sunday 4.22.10, I will be beginning my actual program and diet plan made for me.
This consists of consuming the following every day for the next 10 weeks (until 7.05.10):

(2) Entrees
(2) Veggies
(2) Fruits
(2) Starches
(1) Fat
(10) Eight oz. glasses of water

During the nutrition class I will be given a folder for a food journal, food lists, and recipes that I can use during this time period.

You are also suppose to have (2) supplements which include either one of their protein bars and/or drinks. And are allowed up to (2) of their energy drinks per day. They also provide you with a cleansing tea, to help you have regular BM's, just in case. :)

Of course during this 10 weeks is when you MUST take their pills. This includes a metobolism, vitamin, EFA's, and a carb blocker pill.

Then, for the six weeks following my 10 week diet I am in what they call the stabilization period where we work in more calories to my diet to introduce me back to the "real world" of food. They said it is possible to gain a few pounds (1-3) during this transition.
